Description
Essential Component for Domestic RO Systems
The 1812 RO membrane element is the primary purification stage in many domestic RO systems. It removes dissolved salts and other impurities from tap or well water, ensuring safe, clean drinking water. This element fits standard 1812 housings, making installation simple and reliable.
How the RO Membrane Works
Water enters the membrane under pressure and passes through a thin‑film composite layer. Dissolved salts and other contaminants are left behind, while purified water continues to the storage tank. This process significantly reduces total dissolved solids (TDS), improving water taste and safety.

Benefits of the 1812 Membrane
- Removes dissolved salts, heavy metals, and impurities.
- Fits standard 1812 housings for easy replacement.
- Works with tap, well, and low‑salinity water sources.
- Provides reliable, consistent water purification.
- Long service life when used with proper pre-filters.
Installation & Maintenance
To install, turn off the water supply and relieve system pressure. Remove the old membrane and insert the new one, following the correct orientation. Flush the system before use. Regular pre-filter changes protect the membrane and maintain optimal performance.
