Usage & Selection Tips
- Use this GAC in systems where flow and contact time are sufficient to allow adsorption (granular contact beds or GAC filters).
- Regular replacement or regeneration may be required depending on contaminant load and volume; performance declines when saturation is reached.
- For best results, pre-filter to remove sediments and protect granular carbon from clogging.
Installation & Handling
- Flushing the new activated carbon before first use reduces carbon dust.
- Ensure media bed depth is adequate to allow proper contact time.
- Avoid abrupt pH extremes (very acidic/alkaline) as these may reduce effectiveness.
