Compact industrial reverse osmosis for 250 LPH nominal output
This frame-mounted RO machine is suited to commercial water-treatment installations where space is limited and a nominal treated-water output of 250 litres per hour is required. Applications may include small water-refill operations, commercial process-water preparation and pre-treated borehole or municipal water, subject to a water analysis and system sizing.
Machine features
- 2000 GPD model designation; supplied nominal hourly output: 250 LPH.
- Frame-mounted pump and RO membrane housing.
- Control panel with visible pressure gauges and flow indicators for monitoring operation.
- Integrated blue cartridge-filter housings as shown in the machine photograph.
The GPD model designation and supplied LPH rating are stated separately; they are not presented as a direct unit conversion.
How reverse osmosis works
The pump drives feed water through an RO membrane. A treated-water stream is collected while a separate concentrate stream carries rejected dissolved substances to drain or a suitable recovery system. RO can reduce dissolved salts and many contaminants, but final water quality depends on feed-water analysis, membrane selection and operating conditions.
Installation and maintenance
- Arrange a water analysis and confirm suitable sediment filtration, dechlorination and scale control before installation.
- Provide an appropriate feed supply, electrical connection, concentrate drain and treated-water storage.
- Monitor pressure, flow and treated-water conductivity; maintain filters and clean or replace membranes as required.
- Ask Puritech to confirm electrical requirements, membrane specification, recovery rate, dimensions and commissioning requirements for the supplied machine.
Nominal output is not a guaranteed production rate. Feed temperature, pressure, salinity and membrane condition affect performance. Test treated water for its intended use.
Machine-only supply
This listing is for the RO machine only. The separate FRP pre-treatment vessels, control valves, media bags, riser sets and promotional accessories pictured on the advertisement are not included. Delivery, installation and commissioning are confirmed separately.
