Description

3012 400 GPD Vontron RO Membrane

The 3012 400 GPD Vontron RO Membrane is a high‑performance element designed for domestic and light commercial reverse osmosis systems where consistent water quality and flow matter. With a rated permeate of ~400 GPD (~1500 L/day) under standard test conditions, it delivers a strong balance of high flow and efficient salt rejection. Built by Vontron, it is ideal for bottle‑filling stations, water bars, countertop systems, and larger under‑sink setups.

Key Features

  • High output for compact systems: Rated at approximately 400 GPD under ideal test conditions, helping meet higher demand without going to large form factors.
  • Reliable salt rejection: Minimum 96% salt rejection according to manufacturer data.
  • Compact 3012 size: Small footprint (≈298 mm × 71 mm) for easier retrofits or tight installations.
  • Suitable for typical domestic feed water: Works with municipal supply, TDS up to around 250 ppm under standard conditions, at approx. 40% recovery.
  • Quality manufacturing: From Vontron, a trusted brand in RO membranes with proven performance.

Technical Specifications

  • Model: 3012‑400 GPD (Vontron)
  • Rated Permeate Flow: ~400 GPD (~1500 L/day) under specified test conditions.
  • Dimensions: approx. 298 mm length × 71 mm diameter (11.74″ × 2.8″)
  • Operating Limits:
    • Max Feed Pressure: ~300 psi (~21 bar) for some models.
    • Max Feed Temperature: ~45 °C.
    • pH Range (Continuous): ~2‑11 (check datasheet)
    • Free Chlorine: <0.1 ppm recommended.

Why Choose the 3012 400 GPD Vontron RO Membrane?

If you need a membrane element that combines compact size with higher output and reliable rejection for domestic or light commercial systems, this model fits the bill. It lets you avoid moving to much larger industrial modules while still handling significant throughput. Moreover, being a Vontron brand ensures you benefit from industry‑proven manufacturing and service support.

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  1. Before use, flush the new membrane per the manufacturer’s instructions; discard the first tank of permeate water.
  2. Ensure feed water is properly pretreated (sediment/5 µm, de‑chlorinated) and TDS within the recommended range.
  3. Monitor permeate quality and quantity—decreasing flow or rising TDS may indicate fouling or scaling.
  4. Store membranes wet or in an appropriate preservative solution if the system is offline.
